Reinstalling Windows...

So it turned out that the only game I was able to play without issues on Windows 10 was GTA V. Quirks and other issues came up while playing other games. So I decided to go back to Windows 7 and the free upgraded allowed you to roll back. Well I did, but then I couldn't use any USB devices at all once Windows rolled back to Win7. So, I had to reinstall Windows 7 from scratch. I finally got everything back up and working and now I am reinstalling all my games. As for Windows 10, I think I'll wait a least a year before I consider upgrading. ARRGG!!!

My Gaming Status Update

So I decided to upgrade to Windows 10 when I was given the chance by Microsoft to upgrade for Free, and thus far have really only ran into one issue. GTA V would not launched, but after some google searches and troubleshooting I was able to get it to work. I am not going to go into detail about the OS, you can find reviews about it online. All I have to say is you may want to wait about 6 months. not all of the drivers are out for parts and issues are bound to come up with gaming on Windows 10. I am going to keep my fingers crossed and hope I don't run into any system breaking issues. If I do, the one need thing about the free upgrade is I can always go back to Windows 7.

On another update, I did decide to subscribe to StarWars The Old Republic. I am really enjoying playing that game again, so I decided to go all in for a little while. The Fall is coming up and lots of games are coming out, but for the time being I have SWTOR and GTA online to keep me distracted. Speaking of distraction, Metal Gear Solid V releases in a few weeks. Can't wait to play that....

Windows 10: To Upgrade or Not To Upgrade?

Microsoft's new OS is out and I have signed-up for the free upgrade. But I am not sure if I want to upgrade just yet.

I am kind of on the fence about it. I hear from some reviews that people's PCs/Laptops have had nothing but issues with it. Other say it is great and has had no problems since the upgrade.

One of the main reasons I don't know if I can upgrade to Windows 10 is because I heard about the horror stories about Nvidia drivers. This is my gaming PC, and if it is not 100% then it is useless to me.

So when I do get the chance to download and upgrade to Windows 10 for free. I am still undecided on whether to upgrade or not. Hmmm...
