I have heard some rumors that the NX could be cartridge based. But if that was true, it would only be a disaster for Nintendo, as cartridges are far more costly to produce then CD/DVD/Blu-Ray. Though there are rumors saying that the NX could be a hybrid of home and portable console. Which in portable, the cartridges would make sense. These of course are all rumors, and we will most likely not hear about the official details of the NX till later this year. As Nintendo has said it will not be featured at E3 this year. I am both worried and excited about the NX. I just hope it will end up being a success for Nintendo, so I can continue to play Zelda games on a home console made by Nintendo. Well, we will have to find out what the House of Mario has in store for us later this year.
